A simple setup

Start with your school emails.

Ask your school for an invitation to summary emails. Connect the inbox that receives them, then choose school words or clubs to follow.

Summaries arrive daily or weekly, not straight away. Parent Push checks these emails, not Classroom itself.

Questions parents ask

Good to know.

Do I need an invitation from the school?

Yes. Ask the school to invite you to receive Google Classroom summary emails. These are sometimes called guardian summaries. Connect the inbox that receives them to Parent Push.

Does Parent Push open Google Classroom?

No. It checks summary emails in your connected inbox for the words you choose. It does not sign in to Classroom or read private classroom pages.

Will I hear about every update straight away?

No. Google sends summaries daily or weekly when there is something to share. They do not include every school update. Parent Push can only check emails that arrive, and alerts may take time.

A little more room in your day.

A little less checking. More headspace.
