1. Introduction

Welcome to Parent Push. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Parent Push service ("Service"), operated by Parent Push Limited ("we", "our", or "us").

By accessing or using Parent Push, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Service Description

Parent Push is an email monitoring service designed to help UK parents stay informed about school club availability. Our Service:

• Monitors your connected Gmail, Outlook or Hotmail email account for notifications from school platforms
• Detects when school club spaces become available based on your specified keywords
• Sends WhatsApp alerts when matching school updates are detected
• Scans PDF and Word document attachments for relevant information

We support monitoring of emails from seven UK school communication platforms: ParentPay, Arbor, SchoolMoney, ParentMail, IRIS ParentMail, Teachers2Parents, and School Gateway.

New parents approve school email addresses during setup. Only emails from approved addresses are checked for updates; we may still check who other emails are from, but not their messages.

Existing parents keep their current checks until they choose “Review school emails” and confirm “Use these school emails”. Opening or leaving the review does not change their checks. This covers all connected inboxes. Add new school email addresses to avoid missed updates. Removing an approval stops checks for emails no longer covered; email safety stays on.

3. Security and assessment status

CASA assessment status is being confirmed. We document our security controls and will publish verified assessment details when available.

The assessment covered security controls including:

• Secure OAuth implementation - Our authentication flows are protected against CSRF and other attacks
• Data encryption - All sensitive data is encrypted using AES-256-GCM at rest and TLS in transit
• Vulnerability assessment - Our application has undergone comprehensive security testing
• Google API data practices - Our implementation is designed around the Google API Services User Data Policy and Limited Use requirements
• Security headers - Comprehensive HTTP security headers including CSP, COOP, COEP, and CORP

4. Subscription and Payment

Parent Push is available as a paid subscription service:

• Monthly membership - £5.00 per month, except for VIP Founders whose membership is free forever
• New members get two school inboxes included. Extra inboxes cost £2 a month each, up to four extras (£8 a month). Parents who joined before these prices started keep up to six inboxes free.
• VIP Founder membership stays free forever. New members get two school inboxes free; extras cost £2 a month each, up to four extras (£8 a month). Members who joined before these prices started keep up to six inboxes free.
• The new extra-inbox charges only apply to parents joining after these prices start. Current and past parents keep up to six inboxes free, including when they return. They will never be asked to pay these new charges.
• Billing - You will be billed monthly via Stripe, our secure payment processor
• Cancellation - You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period
• Refunds - Due to the nature of digital services, refunds are generally not provided. However, please contact us if you have concerns about your subscription

4a. Free Trial Offer

New subscribers are offered a 30-day free trial before their first payment is taken. The following terms apply:

• One trial per person - The free trial is available once per email address. Customers who have previously subscribed are not eligible for a further trial period
• Card required - A valid payment card must be provided to start the trial. No charge will be made for 30 days
• Auto-renewal - At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically renew at £5.00 per month unless you cancel before the trial ends
• Reminder emails - We will send you a reminder email 7 days and 3 days before your trial ends so you can decide whether to continue
• Cancellation during trial - You may cancel at any time during the trial and you will not be charged
• Right to withdraw - Nothing in these trial terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013

4b. Referral Programme

Parent Push operates a referral programme that rewards existing subscribers who refer new paying customers:

• Your referral link - Subscribers receive a unique referral link in their account settings which they may share with other parents
• Reward - For each referred user who completes their free trial and makes their first paid payment, the referring subscriber receives a £5.00 account credit applied to their next billing cycle
• Cap - Referral credits are capped at a maximum of 6 months of credits (£30.00) per subscriber
• Eligibility - A referral is only counted when the referred person uses your referral link to subscribe, completes the free trial, and makes their first paid payment. Self-referrals and fraudulent referrals are not permitted
• No cash value - Referral credits are applied to your account as Stripe balance credits and have no cash value. They cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash
• Programme changes - Parent Push reserves the right to modify or discontinue the referral programme at any time with reasonable notice

5. User Responsibilities

By using Parent Push, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information when setting up your account and monitors
• Use the Service only for monitoring your own email accounts
• Not attempt to circumvent any security measures or access controls
• Not use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Keep your account credentials and connected email access secure
• Ensure your WhatsApp number is correct and can receive messages

6. Service Availability

Parent Push Limited provides this service "as is" as a convenience tool for busy parents.

While we strive to provide reliable, continuous service, we cannot guarantee:

• 100% uptime - Our service may experience occasional downtime for maintenance or technical issues
• Notification delivery - WhatsApp message delivery depends on third-party services (Twilio, WhatsApp)
• Email detection accuracy - Our keyword matching may not capture every relevant email
• Real-time monitoring - There may be slight delays in email scanning and alert delivery

You should not rely solely on Parent Push to secure school club places. We recommend checking your emails directly for important school communications.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Parent Push shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• We are not responsible for missed club sign-ups, missed notifications, or any consequences arising from service interruptions
• Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of emails from school platforms

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Parent Push, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by Parent Push and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any part of the Service without our express written consent.

9. Privacy

Your use of Parent Push is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information and email data.

By using our Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Third-Party Services

Parent Push integrates with third-party services to provide our features:

• Google (Gmail) - For email access via OAuth 2.0
• Microsoft (Outlook) - For email access via OAuth 2.0
• Twilio (WhatsApp) - For delivering WhatsApp notifications
• Stripe - For secure payment processing

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or abusive behaviour
• Non-payment of subscription fees
• Request from law enforcement or government agencies

You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and disconnecting your email accounts.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes:

• We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• We may notify you through the application or via email
• Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
